After completing my training as an early childhood educator and receiving state certification, I discovered the concept of forest kindergartens in 2020 at a forest kindergarten in the town of Oberursel, and it proved to be the perfect fit for me. Working in nature fascinated me so much that I subsequently pursued further training in wilderness education. Since October 2024, I have been working as an educator at VillaWald.

 

My focus in the forest kindergarten is to offer children the freedom to develop themselves effectively in nature. For me, the forest is not just a playground, but also an additional educator, naturally teaching children social skills, mindfulness, and respect for their environment. I love discovering the many small and great wonders of nature together with them.

 

Besides my work in nature, music is an important part of my daily teaching practice. I accompany the children on the guitar when they sing and use music intentionally to create harmonious transitions in the daily routine.
